New ANA Original Onboard Wheelchair

ANA offers an onboard wheelchair which allows passengers who have difficulty walking, the ability to move around the cabin and use the restroom in-flight. The rear wheels were fixed in the previous design making it difficult to maneuver, but with the new enhancements, it is capable of much smoother movements.

In order to accommodate customers who have difficulty sitting up, we have improved cushion quality and added a new chest belt to help secure the upper body. We also made sure the onboard wheelchair could easily change directions, even in the narrow aisles of the cabin, ensuring the rear wheels could move with fluidity and the armrests were adjustable.

※The newly enhanced onboard wheelchairs will be introduced sequentially starting with ANA’s international equipment.
