ANA’s In-Flight Safety Video Gets Revamped!
Collaborating with KABUKI, a wonder of Japanese Culture
The one thing we can always expect when we board an aircraft, is the in-flight safety video. ANA has been working on revamping the safety video and we are pleased to announce that we will soon be able to share the new and improved version with you! Our domestic flights will feature the new videos starting December 1st, 2018 and our international flights on January 1st, 2019.
The new theme is KABUKI. For those of you that are not familiar with KABUKI, it is a form of traditional Japanese theater, and registered as UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. We are pleased to have been able to work with Mr. Matsuya Onoe, a Kabuki actor himself, who supervised the making of this in-flight safety video!
There are a total of three versions, featuring different music and flight attendants. Safety is our number one priority, and we wanted to make sure that our videos were easy to understand, but also unique and entertaining for our customers.
As an added bonus, as you are deplaning, we will be airing a behind the scenes video, revealing a glimpse of how the safety video was made!
