How to Register and Earn Miles on ANA Japan Domestic Flights
If you haven't already, sign up for an ANA Mileage Club (AMC) membership. Then, register your 10-digit membership number when booking online, or provide it when making reservations by phone.
- You can complete boarding procedures using online check-in.
- Miles will be typically credited to your account 1-2 days after departure.
- If upgrades or changes were made to reserved flights at the airport on the day of departure, mileage accrual may not be automatically processed. Please retain all documents which are required for retroactive mileage registration until after you have confirmed that mileage from your flight has been credited to your mileage account. Registering mileage when connecting to another flight: Registration procedures are required at each connecting airport.
Registering mileage when connecting from a domestic flight to an international flight: Please present your ANA Card or AMC Card when checking in.

How to Register Your Mileage Post-Flight
- If you did not register your mileage before your flight, or were unable to do so due to system-related issues at the airline operating the flight, retroactive mileage registration is possible.
- You can retroactively register mileage at any time from the afternoon of the day after the departure date until six months after the departure date. Simply log into your membership account, or contact us. Keep your flight itinerary and details handy.
- Mileage will be credited to your account upon completion of the retroactive mileage registration procedures. Any mileage accrual will be denied before ANA Mileage Club enrollment date.
You can register in one of four ways.
ANA Website
- Please login from Mileage Credit for ANA Japan Domestic Flights page and register your flight number.
- * It is not necessary to attach any confirmation documents. You can check the accrual results immediately after completing the registration procedures.
- After you have logged in, please attach your confirmation documents and register your retroactive mileage on the Retroactive Mileage Registration page.
- After application submission, it will take about two weeks to complete the processing.
- Please send attachment picture files in either .pdf .jpg .jpeg .gif or .png formats. (Note: Pictures taken by smartphones are usually in these formats.)
- Please send the documents required for retroactive mileage registration as well as the completed Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form
to the address below:

Notes:
- After application submission, it will take about two weeks to complete the processing.
- If the application is for an itinerary that includes ANA international flights or flights operated by ANA partner airlines, approximately one month will be required.
- Only regular postal mail will be accepted. Documents sent by courier or express delivery services will not be accepted.
- All documents that are submitted in relation to a retroactive mileage registration application, including the Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form, will not be returned.
- If you wish to retain any of the documents, please make a copy before sending the original.
- All received documents will be appropriately disposed of after the mileage registration application has been processed.
- When sending a retroactive mileage registration application by mail, the customer is responsible for all necessary postage fees. Postage fees will not be refunded.
- If completing the procedure via email, you can also attach a screenshot of your mobile boarding pass.
Required Documents for Retroactive Mileage Registration
- Your paper boarding pass, security certificate or boarding information slip (original).
- According to the update of the equipment, security certificate or boarding information slip is not issued at some airports.
- If you have a mobile boarding pass issued by using online check-in, please complete the procedure via the ANA Website or email. If you do not have the documents required for retroactive mileage registration, including mobile boarding passes, your request will not be accepted.
- Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form (completed with your name and ANA Mileage Club (AMC) membership number).
- Please confirm that the same name is indicated on the above documents.
- You can download and print the Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form.
Terms and Conditions
- The retroactive mileage registration application will not be processed if any of the required documents are missing. Please retain all documents required for retroactive mileage registration, including your mobile boarding passes.
- If the application is submitted after six months has passed, the retroactive mileage registration will not be approved.
- Only customers who have completed procedures to join ANA Mileage Club (AMC) can apply for retroactive mileage registration.
- Submitting a retroactive mileage registration application is not equivalent to applying to join AMC.
- All documents that are submitted in relation to a retroactive mileage registration application, including the Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form, will not be returned.
- If you wish to retain any of the documents, please make a copy before sending the original.
- All received documents will be appropriately disposed of after the mileage registration application has been processed.
- If the AMC member information on the Mileage Retroactive Registration Application Form does not match what is actually registered to the AMC member's account, all received documents will be sent back to the sender.
- The status of the retroactive mileage registration application can be checked on the ANA website. Responses to individual inquiries regarding the status of mileage accrual, etc., will not be provided.
- Retroactive mileage registration is possible starting from the day after the departure date.
Number of Miles for Each Sector
The mileage charts indicate the specified number of miles for each sector. Basic sector mileage is based on the Ticketed Point Mileage (TPM) that is published by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) every autumn and is applicable during the following periods.
Basic Sector Mileage is equal to the miles shown on "100%" column in all mileage charts.
For Mileage Accrual: Flights used from January 1 to December 31.
For Awards: Tickets issued from January 1 to December 31

Mileage Accrual Eligibility
- Basic sector mileage is multiplied by the accrual rate for the relevant fare type to calculate the amount of mileage that will be earned from a domestic flight.
- Miles earned from domestic flight = basic sector mileage x accrual rate for the booking class.

The mileage accrual rate varies depending on the fare type. (This information is current as of January 15, 2024)

Mileage Accrual for Premium Class
- When upgrading to Premium Class, the mileage accrual rate will be increased 50% from the originally purchased fare.
- When using Premium Class with a ticket that is not eligible for mileage accrual, the additional 50% rate increase will not apply and mileage will not be accrued.
- Please refer to the Mileage Charts tab on this page to confirm the basic sector mileage and number of miles that correspond to each sector and fare type.
Mileage Accrual Eligibility
- The basic sector mileage is multiplied by the accrual rate for the relevant fare type to calculate the amount of mileage that will be earned from a domestic flight.
- Only ANA Mileage Club (AMC) members themselves are eligible for mileage accrual.
- Bonus miles are only accrued if the miles for the eligible flight have been registered to AMC.
- When traveling on Japan domestic codeshare flights operated by IBEX Airlines, AIRDO, Solaseed Air, StarFlyer, Oriental Air Bridge, Japan Air Commuter(JAC) and Amakusa Airlines(AMX), only those that are reserved under an ANA flight number will be classed as ANA flights for mileage accrual purposes.
- Even if a customer reserves and uses multiple seats (to accommodate carry-on baggage, for example), mileage will only be accrued for one seat.
Not eligible:
- Charter flights
- Complimentary tickets
- Award tickets
- Group Discount Fare
- Inclusive Group Tour Fare
- AMC Companion Fare (for the AMC member)

Mileage Terms and Conditions
- Mileage will not be accrued if the flight is not actually used.
- This includes cases involving delays and cancelations.
- Duplicate mileage registration with other frequent flyer programs is prohibited.
- Mileage that had been registered to a non-ANA frequent flyer program (including mileage registered with another airline's temporary frequent flyer card) cannot be transferred to ANA Mileage Club (AMC) account.
- Similarly, mileage which had been registered to AMC cannot be transferred to another airline's frequent flyer program.
