Sakurai Futamigaura Torii and Meoto Iwa

The Itoshima peninsula is a beach paradise less than an away from Fukuoka city center. Its most famous draw is the bright white Sakurai Futamigaura torii gate that stands on the beach in front of two “wedded” rocks, known as Meoto Iwa. Stop by for some luck in love and snap some amazing shots while you’re here. Sunrise and sunset offer the most spectacular views.

Adventurous souls should head to Fukuoka’s beach in the city, Momochi Beach Seaside Park.
