Can Miles Be Earned? | Scenario |
---|---|
Yes | Combining Or Transferring Mileage Between Family Members ANA Mileage Club members who have registered for the ANA Mileage Club Family Account Service can combine their family’s miles and redeem them for flight awards. See ANA Mileage Club Family Account Service for details. When Using International Upgrade Awards Mileage accrual is based on the service class of the originally purchased ticket. When You Do Not Receive Your ANA Mileage Club Card Prior To Departure Even if you did not receive your ANA Mileage Club Card before departing for your trip, it is possible to retroactively register mileage upon receiving the card later if you do so within 6 months after the relevant flight. Infant Passengers Even if the passenger is an infant, they can earn miles if a child fare ticket has been purchased for them in order to occupy their own seat. Miles cannot be earned if an infant (domestic flights: less than 3 years of age; international flights: less than 2 years of age) does not occupy their own seat. Mileage accrual for child fares are based on the ticket fare (same policy as adult fares). |
No | Transferring Mileage To Other Airline Programs Mileage which has been registered to another airline’s frequent flyer program (including mileage registered with temporary frequent flyer cards) cannot be transferred to ANA Mileage Club. Likewise, mileage which has been registered to ANA Mileage Club cannot be transferred to another airline’s frequent flyer program. As stated in the Membership Agreement, registered mileage cannot be transferred or combined with those from another airline’s mileage program. When Using Flight Awards Domestic and international flight awards are not eligible for mileage accrual. |
