ANA's efforts to prevent fraudulent credit card transactions

In order to prevent fraudulent credit card transactions, and as part of ANA’s efforts to strengthen security, in some cases, ANA may require the cardholder of the credit card used to purchase ANA air tickets, to present to ANA in person the credit card and their photo ID (with the name written in alphabetical characters), to prove that the credit card transaction is legitimate.
These customers will be notified in advance by ANA. However, in cases when reservations have been made shortly before the flight, the cardholder may be asked to present the credit card and photo ID in person at the airport on the day of the flight.
In the event ANA detects fraudulent credit card usage and cannot verify the credit card use, the reservation will be cancelled and the customer(s) in question will not be permitted to board any subsequent ANA flights under the ticket reservation.
