Perth International Airport to the City of Perth

Perth International Airport has 4 terminals (T1 to T4). ANA arrives and departs from T1, the largest terminal with major international air routes. T1 and T2 are next door, and T3 and T4 are on the opposite side across from the runway.

Airport shuttle bus

The Perth City Shuttle is a shuttle bus connecting the airport, Perth city center, Fremantle, and areas along the Sunset Coast. Reservations are generally required (by phone or online).

  • Reservations: TEL (+61-0)400-366-893 Perth City Shuttle
  • Pickup location: T2 in front of the domestic arrivals hall, T3 in front of the domestic arrivals hall
  • Time required: About 15 to 30 minutes to the Perth city center, about 1 hour to Fremantle.
  • Fare: To the Perth city center, it is $25 for 1 person, $35 for 2 people, $45 for 3 people, and $50 for 4 people. To Fremantle, it is $45 for 1 person, $55 for 2 people, $60 for 3 people, and $65 for 4 people. However, a $10 surcharge is required when riding between 20:00 and 5:59 the following day.

Bus

The city's public transportation system, Transperth can be taken from Perth International Airport (T1 and T2, T3 and T4). Bus Rt. 380 can be taken from T1 where ANA arrives and departs and T2 (Bus Rt. 40 can also be taken from T3 and T4). The bus route runs through Adelaide Terrace, which is lined with major hotels, to Elizabeth Quay Bus Station in the city center.

  • Bus Stop: There is a Transperth bus stop in front of T1 and T2 arrival halls.
  • Time required: Approx. 35 min. to 40 min.
  • Fare: Adults A$4.90, Children A$2.10.
  • Operating hours: As there are fewer flights due to COVID-19, fewer buses are in operation.
    T1 to the Elizabeth Quay Bus Station: About one an hour, Mon. to Fri. 4:54 to 23:12, Sat. 5:52 to 23:07, Sun. 7:30 to 11:07.
    Elizabeth Quay Bus Station to T1: About one an hour, Mon. to Fri. 5:30 to 23:48, Sat. 6:35 to 23:45, Sun. 7:45 to 11:45.

Taxi

  • Taxi Stand: There is a taxi stand in front of the arrival hall at each terminal.
  • Time Required: Approx. 20 min.
  • Fare: Approx. A$35 to A$45 to Perth's city center from T1 or T2
  • Hours: 24 hr.

Uber

  • Pickup location: Uber is a legal form of transportation in Perth. After arriving at the airport, an Uber can be called using an app. There is a rideshare pickup location to the side of the arrival hall at each terminal.
  • Time Required: Approx. 20 min.
  • Fare: Approx. A$30 to A$45 to Perth city center
