"The Swimming Pool" by Leandro Erlich
One of the most popular exhibits at this museum, "the Swimming Pool" can be viewed from both the Exhibition Zone and the admission-free Public Zone. A fun way to enjoy this artwork is to meet visitors on the other side of the water surface, with persons peering down from above and those gazing up from below. Experience the astonishment of looking down and finding people in the water and the amusement of looking up beyond the water surface from the bottom of the pool. The artwork initiates these diverse experiences that stimulate the viewers' everyday senses, and at the same time, creates new encounters between people from above the ground and below.

Green Bridge by Patrick Blanc
Botanist and artist Patrick Blanc created the Green Bridge in a way that straddles a glass corridor. The 13-meter-long, 5-meter-tall wall is covered with approximately 100 varieties of plants that suit the climate of Kanazawa, with diverse seasonal selections arranged in perfect balance. The artwork embodies Blanc's theory that plants are able to adapt and thrive even in a limited environment.
