Asahikawa Ramen Village

At this amusement park dedicated to conveying the culture of Asahikawa's delicious ramen noodles, visitors can taste a variety of ramens from eight of the region's popular ramen restaurants all in one place. With a souvenir shop and unique photo spots, this is a fun park that visitors of all ages can enjoy.

Taste and compare different Asahikawa ramens with unique individualities

Made with creative measures to relieve the area's cold weather, Asahikawa ramens are truly the town's soul food. All eight restaurants at the Ramen Village--Aoba, Ittetsu-an Matsuda, Ishida, Tenkin, Santoka, Saijo, Koubo Kato, and Baikoken--are popular eateries in the region. From established masters using no artificial food seasonings to old-fashioned Asahikawa ramens and menus with modern touches, you will find a wide variety of bowls for every taste. Each restaurant offers mini-size menus, so make sure to taste and compare them all!

Plenty of fun and unique photo spots

Ramen Village is also dotted with fun spots for photos, such as the Ramen Village Shrine for blessings in love and the rest area with unique benches in the shapes of chopsticks and giant ramen bowls. The souvenir shop carries the same ramen noodles and soups as the restaurants in the village, so you can enjoy your favorite bowl at home as well. The colorful and fun wall murals drawn by local university students are also a must-see.
