Enjoy the superb view of Mount Fuji from Arakurayama Sengen Park in Yamanashi Prefecture

Arakurayama Sengen Park is one of the world-famous viewing spots of Mount Fuji. Not only does the park offer splendid views of the mountain in respective seasons, but it also serves as a popular viewing spot for the beautiful night scenery of Fujiyoshida City.

Five-storied pagoda (Chureito Pagoda)

Built as a peace memorial to commemorate the war dead, Chureito Pagoda is known worldwide as a prominent viewing spot of Mount Fuji. It creates a spectacular scenery in autumn when the cherry trees change to fall colors. In addition to springtime, the view of the pagoda and Mount Fuji during the foliage season is also very popular.

Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine

The historic shrine was built in 705. Located halfway up Mount Arakura, its beautiful red torii gate at the entrance of the path to the shrine catches your eye. The magnificent main hall has gathered the faith of people in prayer to the god of disaster prevention and household happiness.
