SWISS expands its route network with a new destination in Japan: Starting from March 1, 2020, five weekly flights will operate between Osaka (Kansai) and Zurich.
Next to Tokyo, Osaka is the second destination that SWISS is flying to in Japan. This is an exciting addition to SWISS's flight network departing from Zurich, which comprises more than 100 destinations in 44 countries. Zurich offers a convenient gateway for SWISS passengers with connecting flights to Europe and the rest of the world, but is also a great base to stay at for an extended stopover in Switzerland.
Since most places and main attractions in Switzerland can be reached by public transport within a few hours, a stopover of 3 to 5 days lends itself perfectly to get to know the country better before moving on to your final travel destination. Whether you're interested in culture, nature, culinary experience or all of these, Stopover Switzerland has the right package for you.
SWISS is continually investing in its infrastructure to offer its guests a superior air travel experience. Travel experts have likewise voted SWISS Business the best Business Class in Europe for several times now. Our spacious SWISS Business seat with integrated massage function converts into a 2-metre flat bed at the touch of a button and ensures you a flight in maximum comfort, after which you will land feeling more relaxed than ever.
Guests of SWISS First and SWISS Business enjoy higher baggage allowance, priority boarding, access to our SWISS Lounges, as well as award-winning dining options, a Victorinox amenity kit, best entertainment and the exclusive SWISS Universe inflight magazine on board.
As a SWISS First guest, you are welcome to stay at our SWISS First Lounge in Terminal E at Zurich Airport, which was honoured the "World's Best First Class Lounge" at the Skytrax Awards 2019. Two hotel rooms, a conference room, mini suites, a champagne bar, two in restaurants and a 352 square meters terrace offer you pure luxury before your next departure.
SWISS will fly nonstop from Zurich to Osaka on Mondays, Wednesdays and every day from Friday to Sunday. Flights starting from March 2020 are available for booking as of now on SWISS.com. Moreover, ANA Mileage Club Member will also earn miles on all SWISS flights.
