Information Regarding the Secure Flight Program

The Secure Flight Program is currently being implemented for flights booked from October 31, 2009 onwards by request of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

What is the Secure Flight Program?
The Secure Flight Program is a scheme intended to increase security for flights departing from, and arriving in, the United States as well as flights passing over U.S. airspace designated by the Transportation Security Administration, whereby the TSA cross-references the information of airline passengers with a watch list at the time of booking. As a result of the implementation of this program, all airlines are required to ask for passenger information mandated by the program at the time of booking and register said information at least 72 hours* prior to departure.

Please be advised tickets may not be issued and furthermore passengers may be denied boarding if the required information has not been received at least 72 hours prior to departure, or at the time of ticketing, whichever comes first.

Passengers who fail to register for the Secure Flight Program may have their reservation canceled.
