When imagining springtime in Japan, most would think of cherry blossoms. However, Japan has even more to offer in the spring, like numerous other seasonal flowers and traditional events to participate in. Here are some spring trip recommendations to appreciate the season to the fullest. Travel to Yamaguchi for events featuring tulips and “koinobori” carp streamers; Fukuoka for fantastic Japanese wisterias; and Oita for a field of nemophila flowers that appear like a beautiful blue carpet. Why not make your memories of Japan even more special by participating in spring events held in various locations? (Please check the respective official websites for the event status and dates.)
