Hachikita Kogen Ski Resort

Hachikita Kogen Ski Resort is situated in the Tajima area in northern Hyogo Prefecture. Together with the affiliated Hachi Kogen Ski Resort which come together at the top of the 1,221-meter-high Mount Hachibuse, the combined scale is one of the largest in western Japan. Enjoy a variety of trails making use of the natural terrain, such as the Sky Road for a refreshing run from the mountaintop with a great view, or northern face with a series of challenging moguls.
Nature Zone for off-piste, powder and tree-run skiing
The area in between the lift to the mountaintop and the Sky Road slope is the Natural Zone with uncompressed snow, great for skiers of intermediate and higher levels. After snowfall, enjoy gliding between trees over fresh, fluffy snow. The floating feeling of snowboarding over 50 centimeters of fresh snow is described as almost like surfing. Enjoy to the fullest the thrill of deep snow skiing immersing yourself in nature.
The Beginners Area supports first-time skiers and snowboarders
The Beginners Area is located in front of the Noma Quad Lift station at the foot of the Noma slope. The very gentle slope is closed off with nets and equipped with a moving belt (Rakuna) and bench, making climbing and mounting bindings easy while sitting down. Start out here with mounting the boards safely and comfortably, and have fun as you get used to skiing and snowboarding and debut on the slopes and lifts.
A delightful time playing in the snow in Kids Park
The Hachikita Kids Park is a spacious area where children can safely enjoy playing in the snow. Kids will delight in sledding and the exciting attractions such as the Snow-go-Round. Climbing the hill is stress-free with the Rakuna moving belt. The park is also equipped with a resting room where kids can take a break after great fun in the snow.
