Carrying liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) on board aircraft is restricted based on orders of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The restrictions on carrying LAGs on board aircraft imposed by countries and regions to which ANA flights are operated are described below.
The rules apply to flights departing from the following countries.
The follow restrictions (1-3) apply to carrying liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) on board.
Medications, baby milk / baby food, and restricted food for special dietary can be carried on board without placing them in a transparent plastic bag.
However, baby milk and baby food is only permitted for passengers traveling with an infant.
Regarding medication, a copy of the prescription or a medical certificate issued by a medical practitioner indicating the name of the illness, etc., may be requested upon security check.
Limited to breast milk, it may be carried on board even when an infant is not traveling together with the passenger.
However, it must be presented to the security inspectors upon security check.
LAGs purchased at duty-free shops, etc., at the departure airport can be carried on board. However, the following requirements may apply depending on the country.
Containers of liquid hand sanitizer each with a capacity not exceeding 350 ml may be brought on board.
However, when connecting to another international flight after arrival in Japan, carry-on restrictions apply for liquids in a container with a capacity exceeding 100 ml.
