Ogijima

Ogijima's photo

It takes about 40 minutes to Ogijima from Takamatsu Port via Megijima. The island has very flat land and settlements are made in ladder pattern across southwest area. You can see a unique landscape where residences are overlapping like the scales of a fish.

The first thing you will see when you arrive in the port is the island’s unique waiting room. The building itself is a work of art, with a design that combines characters from eight different languages on the white roof made in the image of shells.
