Oya History Museum
Oya History Museum in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, where you can feel the grandeur of the underground space
The museum is themed on the history of Oya stone, the specialty of Oya. The vast underground space of the former stone mine is full of grandeur with a depth of 30 meters and an area of 20,000 square meters. It is easily accessible from central Utsunomiya and famous as a concert venue and a shooting location for many different movies, TV dramas, and music videos.
Oya Keikan Park
At the riverside park near Oya History Museum, the rock cliff has a rough surface. The powerful landscape is a scenic beauty designated by the Japanese government. Relax on the wide green lawn and enjoy the landscape of the Oya stone cliff.
