Umitama Taiken Park, Tsukumi Dolphin Island
Umitama Taiken Park "Tsukumi Dolphin Island" is an experienced facility that features the theme of "connection and healing" between dolphins and humans.
It was established in a collaboration between Oita Marine Palace Aquarium Umitamago, Tsukumi City, and many dolphins live in the natural sea.
"Tsukumi Dolphin Island" where you can enjoy performance, challenge hand-on experiences program, or feeding the dolphins, is an ocean resort that you can play with dolphins all day.
Moreover, enjoyment with the creatures of the sea, such as seals and penguins, plenty of fish and others are enormous.

Dolphin Performance!
The dolphin performance unfolded in the natural sea is dynamic anyhow! It is overwhelmed by the sense of scale different from the pool.

Interact with dolphins on hand-on experience
Play with the Dolphins!
This is a hand-on experience program, in which you can shake hands with the dolphins or touch their body. Pretend to be a dolphin trainer and play with the dolphins! Even small children can participate if accompanied by an adult.
Take a photo with the Dolphins!
How about taking a memorable photo with the dolphins on the special stage? The staff will be happy to help to take the photo with your own camera. You can alsotouch the dolphin, so this is recommended for the beginner.
Let's swim with the Dolphins!
This is premium hand-on experience program, in which can fulfill your dream of "I want to swim with the dolphins". After you have met the dolphin and connected with it, you can swim with the dolphin as it pulls you along. Be amazed by the dolphin’s gentleness and strength.
Feeding the Dolphins!
You can feed the dolphins in the sea directly from the deck. This program is particularly popular with small children. We also have many other fun programs, such as encounters with the seals and fishing experiences!
