Within the vast grounds, realistic Edo townscape such as roads, a post town, merchant street, ninja village, and samurai residence are recreated in amazing detail. You can also don costumes and stroll around the Edo town as a samurai, ninja or samurai princess.
Samurai Training Institute
Train to become a samurai warrior! Learn the samurai mannerisms in detail, such as the etiquette and language of samurai as well as caring for Japanese swords. You can also experience swordsmanship with a wooden sword and horseback archery in which you shoot arrows at a target atop a wooden horse.
Experience various work tasks in the Edo period
This program allows children to experience various unique occupations in the Edo period in the realistic Edo townscape, such as ninjas and the torimono who arrest criminals. After simple training, children go out into town and take on their missions! The whole family will without a doubt enjoy watching the serious expressions of their children who have become Edo townfolk not only in their costumes but in their hearts as well.
