Mizuki Shigeru Road

The road was reopened after renovation in July 2018, the 25th anniversary of its initial opening in 1993.

The road stretches approximately 800m from JR Sakaiminato Station and is lined with 177 bronze statues of yokai monsters. The sidewalk spread and the rest area expanded while maintaining the nostalgic of Showa Retro style. In the evening, light up of the bronze statues and create a shadow of yokai on the street.

The lighting is set to turn on the lights up according to sunset time. The time zone will change according to the season.
(It will be late in summer, but will be early in winter. Then lights can be enjoyed longer.)
