A codeshare flight refers to a flight operated with a partner airline's aircraft and crew under an ANA (NH) flight number. If a codeshare flight or one operated by another airline is included in the itinerary, the baggage rules of the other airline may apply.
RESOLVED that,

2) For the purposes of baggage provision selection, the following four-step process should apply for interline journeys:
3) MOST SIGNIFICANT CARRIER (MSC)

Area | IATA Tariff Sub-Areas |
---|---|
IATA Area 1: North America, including Hawaii, South America, etc. |
North America (USA, Canada and Mexico) Caribbean Islands Central America South America (Brazil, Chile, Peru etc.) |
IATA Area 2 Europe/Middle East, etc. |
Europe Middle East Africa |
IATA Area 3 Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, India, etc. |
Japan, South Korea and North Korea Southeast Asia (China, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Guam, etc.) South Asia (India, etc.) South East Pacific (Australia, New Zealand etc.) |
If your flight ticket states that your point of departure, point of arrival, or final destination is in the U.S. (including U.S. territories) or Canada, it is decided whose baggage provisions (free baggage allowance and charges) are applied based on U.S. and Canadian Law. The baggage provisions of that airline will then apply to your flight ticket's entire itinerary.
ANA does not apply the Most Significant Carrier policy.
