Cape Soya
Located at a latitude of 450N, Cape Soya is the northernmost tip of Japan. The "Monument of the Northernmost Point of Japan" in the form of North Star prism is a popular spot for photography. The best way to relax is to take a stroll along the Soya Hill Course scattered with 57 windmills in the period between late-May and mid-November.

Take the "Tenpoku Cape Soya Line" Soya Bus at the Bus Terminus of Wakkanai Station and get off at "Cape Soya" after about 50-minute ride
Kutcharo Lake
A calabash-shaped lake formed by a small lake in the north and a large lake in the south connected via a waterway, it provides a temporary home to migratory birds plying between Japan and Siberia.

Take the "Tenpoku Cape Soya Line" Soya Bus, get off at "Hamatonbetsu Bus Terminus" and walk for 15 minutes
Reindeer Ranch
This is a rare place for close interaction with 65 reindeers, you even may buy fodder to feed them. Activities held in December and February provide opportunities for skiing.

Sea Urchin Experience Centre on Rebun Island
