The Sand Museum, Tottori Sand Dunes

After sightseeing at Tottori sand dunes, I went to a sand museum in the immediate vicinity. "Tottori sand dunes sand museum" in Fukabe-cho, Tottori-shi, Tottori Prefecture is the world's first professional art museum exhibiting sand statues. Parking is free. There are also sightseeing buses and bus lines for access, so those who do not have a car are also safe. The sand art museum changes exhibitions every year, so you can enjoy the charm of sand sculpture with various approaches each time you go.

The "Sand Museum" which opened at the Tottori Sand Dunes on 18 November 2006 is Japan's only open-air museum exhibition sculptures made of sand.

The Sand Museum has a basic concept of "Travelling Around the World with Sand" and exhibits every year with different themes.

After the exhibition, the sand statue will return to the original sand. Sand sculptors pour passion to create a fascinating beautiful model. I think that you can feel the charm of the sand statue more by watching while feeling the story of the sand image that can exist only for a limited period in a fixed place.
