Nakano Fruit Orchards, Fruit Farm in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture has a popular fruits café. Of course you can experience also to harvest fruits. In Yamagata Prefecture, many places popular with their harvest fruits activity, and Nakano Fruit Orchards is one of them. You can experience typical harvest fruits of Yamagata; such as cherries, peaches, grapes and apples. From September to October, there is also a course (※for group only) that enjoys the Yamagata Prefecture people's soul food “Imoni” (outdoor party where you can cook various types of vegetables). And in the café, you can taste unique seasonal sweets and drinks that made from selected local ingredients.
Harvesting experience of seasonal fruits
At Nakano Fruit Orchards, you can experience cherry, peach, grape and apple harvest.
Cherry: Early June to early July
Peach: Early August to Early September
Grape: Middle of August to late September
Apple: Early October to late November
Creative Fruit Cafe "Rulave", presented by Yamagata farmers
