Log in with your 10-digit ANA Mileage Club membership number and the web password supplied upon enrollment.

STEP3

Choose your accommodation from the Airbnb website.

STEP4

After your reservation and stay is complete, you will earn your ANA miles within 2 to 3 months.

With family/ Age: 30s/ Farmhouse stay "Kizuna"

  • When I asked my four years old daugher, "What was your best experience of this Oita trip?", she responded, "Rolling a plum with the old man"! It was not the tourists sites nor playing outside, but the interaction with the host that my daughter most enjoyed. We were able to have a wonderful farm stay welcomed by a heartful host, which we would have never experienced in the city!
  • We were amazed by the local dinner of fatsia sprouts, wild sesame, and edible wild plants tempura! It was a speacial treat with Oinarisan (flavored boiled rice wrapped in fried bean curd) and sashimi!
    They even prepared a child's plate and my daughter finished all the fried shrimp. My son usually doesn't eat much, but he also finished all the stew. It was a dinner enjoyed by both children and adults

With friends/ Age: 40s/ Farmhouse stay "Kaori"

  • It was a Scandanavian style log house, and we were able to feel the warmth of the tree inside the house that made us want to walk in bare foot.
  • We were able to relax in the large indoor and outdoor onsen.
  • Out of all, the hosting couple were very sweet and we enjoyed our time with them!
  • The intermediate host helped us when reserving the Airbnb, and everything went smoothly.

With friends/ Age: 40s/ Farmhouse stay "Kaori"

  • We had a colorful and delicious meal for dinner, such as fried plaintain, humble, dandelion, mints that the mother cropped, and boiled bracken side dish with herb sauce. Hoba (magnolia leaves) sushi was also delicious. All the dishes were tasty, including edible wild plants tempura and fish and meat side dishes
  • Unfortunately it was raining when we visited, but there is also a terrace where you could enjoy tea or breakfast while enjoying the view of nature. You can have a relaxing time while sipping coffee that the host father grinded, or herb tea that the host mother picked

With friend/ Age: 20s/ Farmhouse stay "Haneumatei"

  • We rented the whole house of the host family! We were able to exprience the traditional Japanese house with a hearth and tea room. Will definitely recommend towards foreigners! You can have a relaxed time surrounded by nature.
  • Meals are not included in the plan, but we had a rice bowl topped with seafood at Shionoyu Onsen. It had a great volume for only 1,200 yen.
  • Handling reservations on the phone too, they were very friendly.

With friend/ Age: 30s/ Farmhouse stay "Fuji No Sato"

  • Our host "Mi-chan" was very bright and powerful. We had a fabulous day enjoying our talks and dinner.
  • Responding to our request, she prepared "Shishi Nabe" (boar pot) and "Shishi Don" (rice bowl topped with cooked boar) in addition to various home-cooked meal that cannot be eaten in the city. They also served us "Yukinko Sushi" (shiitake mushroom stewed with soy sauce and sugar and shiso leaves on vinegared rice, lastly topped with Japanese raddish), that came up in the conversation during dinner on the previous day. We also experienced making Tsubaki mochi, and shiitake mushroom picking.
  • They told us that wisteria flowers come into full bloom in the garden, so we hope to visit again during the wisteria season.

With friend/ Age: 30s/ Farmhouse stay "Kate No Ie"

  • Apparently the house is a DIY of an old Japanese-style house by the husband of the host family. It was a beautiful house.
  • The meal was delicous, with menus that used Shiitake mushrooms and vegetables cropped at the local land, in addition to Oita's popular meal "Toriten" (chicken tempura) and rice cooked by "donabe" (Japanese clay pot).
  • We were able to experience the country life that we always dreamed about, by pumping well water and seeing woodstoves, which made me even thinking about living here.

Kate No Ie

Kate No Ie was built by renovating an 80-year-old house and barn. Its warm and welcoming interior was created by the owner, who decorated the space with handmade antique musical instruments. A similar atmosphere can be found in the guests' rooms thanks to eclectic decor. This accommodation is squeaky-clean and is equipped with a cooler, perfect for the warmer months. Its ideal location in the Kunisaki Peninsula makes it the perfect accommodation for those traveling to Oita.

Kaori

A log house nestled in the great nature of northern Oita Prefecture. The dishes using seasonal herbs cultivated by the host are beautiful and delicious. They have a natural hot spring at home, and we also have an open-air bath.
