Oseri Falls

Save to List

Oseri Falls is one of Misato's most famous waterfalls. There are five lookouts on the walking path from which to view the falls, each offering a different spectacle.

Get refreshed at the breathtaking Oseri Falls!

The view of the waterfall, which drops in three stages from a height of 70 meters, is breathtaking and definitely worth seeing! It is easy to believe the legend that a dragon-god lives in the waterfall's basin. The new green leaves of early summer, the changing colors of the leaves in autumn - every season, the waterfall shows a different face. There are many evergreen hardwood trees, mainly oak species, growing in the area around Oseri Falls. These trees join with the waterfall to present a scene of magnificent splendor. A nature path, camping ground, and natural river pool have been set up in an area about 1 kilometer from the falls. These facilities are always lively with children and families.

Savor the delicious taste of soba noodles at the Oseri Falls Folklore Museum!

The Oseri Falls Folklore Museum is located nearby the Oseri Falls. Here, wall panels depicting 13 folktales about Oseri Falls are on display. The hand-made soba noodles, made with local ingredients, are also popular with visitors.
