Flight Award Payment Options for Infants
When using ANA International Flight Awards
Starting December 1, 2018, you’ll have the ability to redeem your miles for infants not requiring their own seat.

Mileage Required
Available after paying 10% of the required flight award mileage for the accompanying adult passenger.
- Please see here for the required flight award mileage for adults.
- Also available when purchasing a separate infant fare ticket for the same boarding class as the adult.
Terms & Conditions
- Available for infants who don’t need their own seat when accompanied by an adult ANA international flight award user.
- The term "infant" refers to a child under 2 years old as of the day of departure.
Notes
- This service is not available on the ANA website for reservations of children under 12 years old. Reservations must be made by phone.
- Ticketing service charges will be waived for award tickets which are issued for children under the age of 12.
- When using miles for flight awards, the application and ticketing deadlines will be different to those for the infant fare ticket. Please confirm the ANA international flight award application and ticketing deadlines.
- Not applicable to partner airline flight awards and Star Alliance Upgrades.
- Mileage payment is not available for infants when accompanied by adults using ANA international flight tickets or upgrade awards.
