Canada Transportation Security Administration (CATSA) has announced a new baggage inspection system following the introduction of tighter anti-terrorism security measures
If the results of the inspection indicate that there is a suspicious object reaction, the contents of baggage may be inspected by officials.
Also, please note that locked baggage may be inspected by breaking the key without notice to the baggage owner or the airline, depending on the circumstances.
For customers who locking their checked baggage
Please do not include any valuable or valuable items in your checked baggage. There is a possibility of loss. In principle, please note that ANA is not responsible for any loss of contents in principle.
For customers who not locking their checked baggage
Please make sure that valuables and high-value items are not packed in your checked baggage.There is the possibility that they might be lost. In principle, ANA will not be liable for lost items.
Camera films
The inspection equipment may affect the sensitivity of the undeveloped film to light, so please carry your film in your carry-on baggage and not in your checked baggage.
Handling dangerous goods
In accordance with the law, dangerous goods cannot be carried on board or checked in. For more information, please ask our staff.
