AIRPLANE198220-Sep-22
On the 30th anniversary of ANA in 1982, the aircraft livery was redesigned. Incorporating the long-familiar Mohican Blue, it changed to a two-tone colored wedge design based on the Triton Blue color scheme. Dark blue is generally called cobalt blue, but it was named Triton Blue, and the light blue Mohican Blue was the inherited color. Triton Blue was named after the Greek mythology's god of the sea, who was revered as a God of Safety to calm storms, to symbolize safe flights.
