[ANA archives] 1st Generation Uniform
Uniform for first six Cabin Attendants

ANA's predecessor, Japan Helicopter & Aeroplane Transport Company, provided uniforms for six Cabin Attendants who were employed for the first time with the launch of the DC-3 aircraft. An ensemble of a blue two-piece suit, open-collared shirt, and beret designed to represent reliability, it was modeled after the US Air Force women's uniform.
