We selected and decided the name on the premise that it should be simple, easy to say, and could easily be
associated with the Games Tokyo 2020. Also, it includes the thoughts of the design winner ASAHI towards
the success of the games and ANA's catch copy for the Games Tokyo 2020 which was also the sub-theme
for this design contest "HELLO BLUE, HELLO FUTURE"
Wishing the athletes luck in all the disciplines of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, I showed the disciplines as silhouettes. In addition, I wished to emphasize Japan's
uniqueness by showing the beautiful nature and architectural monuments representing Japan.
From a young age, I have enjoyed drawing and building vehicles, so seeing an airplane of my own design fly in the wide blue sky is truly a dream come true.
In addition to the grand prize,
we have selected the following four designs
from all the entries.
In the Tokyo 2020 Airplane Design Contest, we looked for an airplane design which captured the spirit of
the theme "Connect the world, connect the future - HELLO BLUE, HELLO FUTURE"
From all the design entries, we selected those which best embodied this image.
