Video: Welcome back to Kyoto

This is a video with music to introduce the four areas of Another Kyoto. A number of images are shown one after the other, including a maiko walking in kimono, canoeing in the Amanohashidate area, tea plantations, Byodoin Temple, traditional craft making of bamboo works and kimono, a chef preparing washoku dishes and a maiko dancing in a traditional teahouse. In the last scene, a geiko and maiko bow, and the video title “Welcome back to Kyoto” appears.

Kyoto, known globally as a city of history and culture, is also home to many unique tourist spots on the outskirts of the city, from coastal villages in the north to rural areas with vast tea fields in the south. We will introduce "Another Kyoto" in four sections: Kyoto by the Sea, Woodland Kyoto, Kyoto Tea Country and Kyoto Otokuni Bamboo Grove. From Osaka Itami Airport, it is approximately a two hour drive north to the Kyoto by the Sea area and a 45 minute drive south to the Kyoto Tea Country area of Uji. They are also all accessible by rental car, train, bus, and other means.
