The air in the cabin is supplied from fresh air taken in through the sides of the fuselage which is adjusted to an appropriate temperature through the air-conditioning system. This air is circulated through a high-performance filter, and all of the air in the cabin is replaced every three minutes.
* Other aircraft are equipped with a similar air purification system, but the main difference is that the 787 does not use bleed air or air extracted from the engines.
