Comments from Overseas Stakeholders

Theme 1: Disclosure and Transparency
Based on the advice given in the dialogue held last year, ANA started to disclose the attendance rate of board members and the agendas of discussions at meetings in this year's Human Rights Report. This is an exceptional case and shows ANA's stance to place great emphasis on upholding the issues of Human Rights and ESG. We thought we should make this a reference for other companies as well.
How to improve transparency in the information disclosure process is essential for increasing corporate value, and we are glad to hear your honest explanation.

Theme 2: Procurement Policy (Risk assessment)
It is a very transparent way to show the process of risk assessment in procurement together with the risk matrix. The process of identifying risk priority is highly recognized.
It is encouraging to know that you will start with urgent items (uniforms, etc.) first and gradually develop them since it is not realistic to manage all of the issues at once under the risk management.

Theme 3: Foreign Workers in Japan and establishing a grievance mechanism
We are pleased to know that the access to a grievance mechanism has actually been put into operation. In the future, it will be more important to verify whether the grievance mechanism is properly made known in the frontline and whether it is easy to access, and to review the issues it might have.

Theme 4: Environment issues
Climate change is considered to be one of the Human Rights Risks. We will be paying special attention to how the aviation industry is tackling environmental issues.
