Guide to Switching Cards

Here you can find information regarding how to switch to a new card and carry over your existing mileage balance.

This guide will help you switch from your current card to a new card while carrying over the miles that you had earned. Select your current card and the card that you wish to switch to from the drop-down menus below.

Step1 Complete a new enrollment for an ANA Card

Select the ANA Card that you wish to switch to from the lineup of available cards, then enter the required information on the relevant credit card company's website to apply.

    A new ANA Mileage Club membership number will be issued when switching to an ANA Card.

Step2 Transfer your existing mileage balance to the new card

Miles can be transferred if you provide your ANA Mileage Club membership number when applying.
Even if you do not do so, the mileage transfer procedures can still be completed at a later date. In this case, you will need to contact the ANA Mileage Club Service Center and provide your card number.

Step3 Cancel the previous card

If you no longer need your previous card, please contact the relevant point of contact and complete card cancellation procedures.

This type of switch refers to switching from a standard card to a Wide Card, Wide Gold Card, or ANA Card Premium that is issued by the same credit card company.

This type of switch refers to switching to an ANA Card that is issued by a different credit card company (JCB, VISA, MasterCard, Diners Club, or American Express®).

■Regarding Participation in ANA Card Family Miles

If a customer who is registered to ANA Card Family Miles switches to an ANA Card that is issued by a different credit card company, their registration status may not be automatically transferred to the new card. Please reconfirm the registration status after receiving the new card.

Switch between Primary Card and Family Card (Excluding ANA Super Flyers Card.)

It is possible to switch from primary member to family card member (and vice versa) for cards which are issued by the same credit card company.

    It is not possible to switch from an ANA Super Flyers Card primary member to a family card member (and vice versa).

Switching to an ANA Mileage Club Card

You are now able to choose the ANA Mileage Club Digital Card (smartphone compatible) when applying for an ANA Mileage Club Card.

Step1 Complete a new enrollment for an ANA Card

The cardholder must contact the ANA Mileage Club Service Center to complete new enrollment procedures. At the same time, the mileage balance will be transferred to the new card.

    A new membership number will be issued when switching to an ANA Mileage Club Card.

Step2 Cancel the previous card

If you no longer need your previous card, please contact the relevant point of contact and complete card cancellation procedures.
