Customers flying with ANA between Japan and Europe can travel part of their itinerary using rail sectors.
This page contains information on each of the railway services available for such customers.
This service may not be available on some fares and is based on seat availability.
If the rail service available with your flight number is not shown on this page, please see the relevant airline's website or other media for details on the service.
Customers who purchase tickets from ANA for ANA international flights between Japan and Germany can purchase connecting Deutsche Bahn (DB) rail sectors as part of their flight ticket without paying any additional service charges.
Lufthansa Express Rail Service*1, and DB Rail&Fly service are available.

This is a service provided by ANA's joint venture partner Lufthansa (LH). Please refer to the Lufthansa Express Rail website for details.
You can use trains (Deutsche Bahn ICE trains) operated between Frankfurt Airport and railway stations in more than 20 German cities.
Deutsche Bahn ICE trains which have an LH flight number
When purchasing your ticket, please reserve and purchase your preferred rail sector (LH flight number) in addition to your flight sector.
The rail sector will also be shown with an LH flight number on the flight ticket.
The Lufthansa (LH) flight number is shown on the flight ticket, as are the departure and arrival times for the relevant train.
Seats in the first class carriage will be reserved for First Class and Business Class passengers, while Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers will have their seat in the second class carriage.

Together with their flight ticket, passengers can obtain tickets for Deutsche Bahn trains connecting German airports served by ANA flights with the more than 5600 railway stations in Germany.
Train service is available on the day of the flight and the following day (or the day of the flight and the day before when departing from Germany).
All Deutsche Bahn (DB) rail sectors between German airports served by ANA flights and the more than 5600 railway stations in Germany can be used.
In addition, Deutsche Bahn (DB) rail sectors connecting Amsterdam, Zurich, and Brussels with German railway stations can be used.
All Deutsche Bahn (DB) trains (including ICE Sprinter trains) can be used.
Please apply for the train ticket at the same time when reserving an ANA international flight ticket. Applications are not available after the flight ticket has been purchased.
Train tickets can be purchased together with flight tickets for the published fares for flights from Japan or Germany without additional charges for the train service being incurred.
This service is not available with Star Alliance fares or ANA international flight awards.
When reserving a flight ticket, please select your preferred itinerary by specifying Railways Germany (Rail&Fly) [QYG] as the departure/arrival location in the seat availability search.
Deutsche Bahn rail sectors are indicated with the carrier code W2. Please note that the departure and arrival times on the e-Ticket are provisional and may differ to the actual times for the train.

Before boarding a train, you must issue your train ticket. Train tickets can be issued on https://www.rail-checkin.com from 180 days prior to boarding the train. Please complete the train ticket issuance procedures before the departure of your train.
Deutsche Bahn rail sectors can be changed or the train ticket canceled up to 2 days prior to the day on which the train will be used.
As the train ticket is valid for all trains on the same sector (not only the one indicated on the ticket), you can use the same ticket to board a different train on the same sector.
You will need a mobile train ticket (obtained on a mobile device) or a printed version of the ticket.
Passengers using first class carriages can reserve their train seat for free upon issuing their train ticket. The train ticket for second class carriages does not include a seat reservation. Please find a vacant seat after boarding. If you wish to reserve a seat, please purchase a seat reservation ticket separately at a Deutsche Bahn (DB) Travel Center or via the Deutsche Bahn website.
If you use a train without having issued your train ticket or without a valid train ticket, Deutsche Bahn (DB) may charge you for the relevant fare.
The train journey time that is indicated on the reservation confirmation does not include connection times.
The train timetable and expected occupancy can be confirmed on the Deutsche Bahn website (www.bahn.de).
When traveling to the airport by train, please note the check-in deadline for the flight and allow plenty of time accordingly.
When connecting to a Deutsche Bahn train from a flight from Japan to Germany
Please allow at least 75 minutes after the international flight's scheduled arrival time to make the connection to the train.
When connecting from a Deutsche Bahn train to a flight from Germany to Japan
Please use a train that arrives at the airport at least 120 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the international flight.
