What is the Special Assistance Information Registration Service

A service has been launched that allows ANA Mileage Club members to register assistance information for your flight due to illness, injury or disability. Upon making a reservation, you can make a your reservation with your assistance information smoothly due to report ANA Mileage Club membership number and that staff identifies the registered information of the assistance.

Types of Information You Can Register

A service that allows you to register information about any special assistance you require when boarding due to illnesses, injuries or disabilities to your ANA Mileage Club member account. By registering in advance, information about special assistance can be easily transferred to the airport when booking. The main information that can be registered includes:

  • Your level of mobility

  • Information on wheelchairs being checked in (manual/motorized, size, battery information, etc.)

  • If you have any visual or hearing impairments

  • Information on any medical devices to be used onboard the aircraft

  • Any borrowed equipment that requires special arrangements

  • Any special assistance required at the airport or onboard the aircraft

Some of the information you register will be automatically reflected in your reservation information as support information when booking a ticket on the ANA website, speeding up the reservation process.

Note: The registration procedure varies depending on whether the support information is shown in section A, B, or C on the left-hand side of the Registration Sheet for Customer Assistance Information.
A: Information will be automatically reflected in your support information when booking a domestic or international flight. If the information does not need to be changed, the process can be completed online.
B and C: The information will not be automatically reflected in your reservation information. Please call the ANA Disability Desk to confirm your support information and the information will be passed on to the airport and aircraft.

Customer Information Registration Process

ANA Mileage Club Members

We will register additional assistance information, so please apply using one of the following methods.

As it is an additional registration to ANA Mileage Club member information, we will confirm your identity.

Non-ANA Mileage Club members

First of all, please join the ANA Mileage Club. Be sure to make a note of the 10-digit membership number displayed on the registration confirmation screen, as it will be required when registering special assistance information.

How to Register Special Assistance Information

This can be done by email, telephone or postal mail.

Register by Email

Please download and fill in the Registration Sheet for Customer Assistance Information and send it as an attachment to the inquiry form below.

Register by Phone

Call the ANA Disability Desk with your 10-digit ANA Mileage Club membership number ready to hand. After confirming your identity, a member of staff will ask you about and register any special assistance you require. Please call or email the ANA Disability Desk if you need to make any changes to your information or if you wish to confirm your registered information. If you use a wheelchair or have a visual or hearing impairment, you can register and change support information over the phone as well as by logging into My Page on the ANA website and choosing Register/Change Basic Reservation Information under My Menu.

Register by Post

Please download and fill in the Registration Sheet for Customer Assistance Information and post it to the address shown below. If you are unable to download the sheet, please contact the ANA Disability Desk so it can be posted to you instead.

Notes

  • Please print the sheet in A4 size and do not resize (enlarge/shrink) it.

  • Only the Registration Sheet for Customer Assistance Information will be accepted at the provided postal address. No other forms or requests will be accepted.

  • If we need to verify the content you have submitted, ANA staff may contact you by phone before the registration is complete.
    We may return your documentation and the form itself for confirmation purposes if there are discrepancies between the information on the registration sheet and the information registered with the ANA Mileage Club.

  • Please be sure to write your full name and address on the back on the envelope.

  • You will be responsible for any postage fees.

  • Only standard postal mail will be accepted. Registrations sent by other means such as courier or express delivery services will not be accepted.

  • Postal registration is not available to customers residing outside of Japan. Please apply for registration by email.

  • The ANA Disability Desk does not handle changes to member information such as addresses or names. Please contact the ANA Mileage Club Service Center.

  • Please refer to the ANA Privacy Policy for details regarding the use of personal information.

Points to Note regarding Registration

  • It will take 5working days (excluding weekends and holidays) to process your registration. If the Registration Desk calls to confirm any items on your form, your registration will take 5working days (excluding weekends and holidays) to process after said items have been confirmed.

  • If there is any change in registration information, or for confirmation of registration information details, please contact the "ANA Disability Desk" by phone or email.

  • Changes in member information such as address and name will not be accepted at this desk. Please contact ANA Mileage Club Service Center.

  • Please refer to the ANA Privacy Policy for details regarding the use of personal information.

How to Confirm Special Assistance Information

With some exceptions, registered information will be displayed on the Basic Reservation Information page of the ANA Mileage Club member page on the ANA website, and on the Support Information screen when booking Japan domestic flights or international flights.
Support information A, B, and C written on the left-hand side of the Registration Sheet for Customer Assistance Information are displayed as follows.

A: Displayed on the Support Information screen when booking Japan domestic flights or international flights, and on the Basic Reservation Information page on the ANA Mileage Club Members page.
B: Displayed on the Basic Reservation Information page on the ANA Mileage Club Members page.
C: Not displayed on the ANA website.

For example, wheelchair information, which is in section A, can be found on the Mileage Club Members page.
Information about your ability to sit, which is in section C, can only be confirmed by calling the ANA Disability Desk.
