Information on Smart Lanes at Security Checkpoints A, B and C at Haneda Airport (Japan Domestic Flights)

ANA has introduced the latest security check machines and smart lanes*1 as part of its renovation of the security checkpoints at Haneda Airport Terminal 2. By introducing smart lanes, multiple customers will be able to use the baggage screening lanes at the same time, thereby reducing the waiting time at security. With smart lanes now in operation at Haneda Airport, you can undergo security checks without taking your laptop or liquids such as pet bottles out of your bags*2. Smart lanes are available at security checkpoints A, B and C.
ANA will continue in its endeavor to create a comfortable airport experience while ensuring that passengers can board their flights in safety.

What Are Smart Lanes? : Smart lanes are part of the Fast Travel program. They increase the efficiency of security screenings by automating the movement of the security check trays, meaning that passengers and security officers no longer have to do it themselves. Furthermore, the smart lanes to be introduced at Haneda Airport will enable the usage of one lane by four customers at the same time, which will reduce the waiting time at security.

This is available at the smart lanes at security checkpoints A, B and C at Haneda Airport only (as of December 14, 2023). At other security checkpoints within Haneda and at other airports, you will need to take any liquids out of your bags. Please be aware that you may be asked to take items out of your bags depending on the result of the security check.
