Child Reservations

Ages

Child: A child between the ages of 3 and 11 years old at the time of departure

Infant: A child between the ages of 8 days old and 2 years old at the time of departure

Reservations and Fares

As of January 31, 2024, new reservations and ticketing for Premium Child Fares for flights departing on or after March 31, 2024, will no longer be available.

Child Reservations

When a reservation is made for a child together with an adult, a reservation can be made by selecting the same fare as the adult in question. The specified fare (including various discount fares) is compared with the Flex Child Fare and the less expensive fare is automatically applied. Note, however, that a comparison with the corresponding Flex Child Fare will not be performed for passengers using award flights or a ANA Mileage Club Companion Fare(the number of miles and fare due an adult passenger applies). Reservations should be made separately for children accompanying adult passengers using the Premium ANA Card Holder's Discount Fare or ANA Card Holder's Discount Fare.

Child Reservations (From February 1, 2024)

For passengers purchasing tickets for flights departing on or after March 31, 2024

When a reservation is made for a child together with an adult, a reservation can be made by selecting the same fare as the adult in question.
Please see (1) and (2) below for child fare amounts.

Reservations should be made separately for children accompanying adult passengers using the Premium ANA Card Holder's Discount Fare or ANA Card Holder's Discount Fare and when purchasing a different fare type to the accompanying adult.

Infant Reservations

One infant may sit in a single adult passenger's lap (free of charge).
Up to two infants can accompany a single adult passenger. Of these two infants, one may sit on the adult passenger's lap while the other infant will require the reservation of an additional seat (via the purchase of a flight ticket at a fare applicable for passengers between the ages of 3 and 12 years old).

The method for making an infant reservation at the ANA Website is as follows

Notes

Passengers accompanied by infants cannot sit in an emergency exit row seat for safety reasons.
Passengers traveling with an infant may not be seated in the same seat row as another passenger traveling with an infant due to limited oxygen mask availability.
If there is more than one passenger traveling with an infant, please select a seat in a different row or a section across from the aisle. Please hold your infant while sitting in your assigned seat.
