Information on various expenses associated with Involuntary Changes due to ANA's responsibilities such as aircraft maintenance.

In the cases that regular transportation is not available from the arrival airport to your destination, or an accommodation is required for the reason that your flight is rescheduled to the next day due to cancellation if a delay and/or cancellation occur due to aircraft maintenance or other reasons caused by ANA, we will pay accommodation and/or transportation expenses within the limits specified by ANA.

Accommodation/Public Transportation Expenses Incurred before Departure Due to Flight Delay or Cancellation

1. In the event that you are transferring to other kinds of public transportation, including the Shinkansen, express trains, etc. (Japan Domestic Flights)

ANA pays the higher fare compared with the full amount of air ticket, and total fare on public transportation between original departure airport and arrival airport. In case of going to Umeda station directly from Shin-Osaka, ANA pays the expenses from Shin-Osaka station to Itami airport as the upper limit.

    The ticket refund is required if you were transferred to the other regular public transportation.

ANA will fully bear the cost of the fare for public transportation. Please do not apply for a standard flight ticket refund and make sure you are reimbursed within 30 days following the departure date of your booked flight. Remittance will be made to your designated account.

2. In the event that you are transferred to an which combines air travel as well as public transportation(Japan Domestic Flights)

3. In the event that, following a transfer, you are unable to use public transportation from the arrival airport to your destination

4. In the event that you require the accommodation for the reason that the flight you reserved is rescheduled to the next day or transferred flight departs on the next day.

Accommodation/Public Transportation Expenses Incurred after Arrival Due to Flight Delay or Cancellation

1. In the event regular public transportation is unavailable

2. In the event that you missed connection and require the accommodation

In the event that you are unable to meet your flight connection and require accommodation after arriving at the arrival airport late due to a flight delay, cancellation, etc., we will reimburse your accommodation costs. (Maximum amount available: JPY 15,000)
