Set amidst Hokkaido's majestic natural beauty, this cultural park recreates the streets and culture of the Edo period in their entirety. Visitors of all ages and genders can enjoy a wide range of daily shows, from an impressive, action-packed performance featuring ninjas to a dazzling Oiran show and hilarious, tear-inducing historical comedy act.
Both children and adults can rent a ninja costume from Utsuroi-Kan on the Merchant Street and experience the excitement of being a ninja for the day. Give ninja training a go by navigating your way through the trick-filled Ninja Maze and trying your hand at shuriken throwing in the Yugi-Kan.
Stroll down the charming Merchant Street while savoring a skewered dumpling, enjoy encounters with the samurai and townspeople walking around Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura, and make the most of the park's many other attractions. Visitors can also enjoy learning about history with the park having many spots concerning Date Masamune and his loyal follower, Katakura Kojuro.
