The Namahage Museum showcases the history and culture of the region with a focus on Namahage. Its Namahage exhibition corner features an exceptional range of more than 150 masks, including some that were actually used in various areas of Oga. In the Densho Hall, visitors can watch "An Evening with the Namahage," a film revealing the cultural traditions of Oga no Namahage on Omisoka (New Year's Eve). The museum has its own app which you can download and use to transform yourself into a digital Namahage. The museum also boasts a souvenir corner where you can buy Namahage merchandise. Visitors can also enjoy a demonstration by a Nahamahage mask sculptor on how to hand carve a mask. (This event is held on an irregular basis.)
Next door to the Namahage Museum you will find the Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum where you can watch a live performance by Namahage. Visit both of these facilities and immerse yourself in the folk culture of Oga no Namahage, which has been added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list.

In addition to miles that can be redeemed with credit card points, customers can earn 1 mile for every JPY 100 (including tax) spent when paying with an ANA Card.

(Some cards, such as ANA Wide Gold Cards, do not require redemption handling fees.) The number of accrued miles may differ depending on the credit card company, transaction details, etc.

Customers who use an ANA Card to buy one of the following admission tickets at the Namahage Museum and/or make a purchase at the shop

Eligible Tickets: Namahage Museum admission tickets (for adults or elementary / junior high / high school students), admission tickets for both Oga Shinzan Folklore Museum and Namahage Museum (for adults or elementary / junior high / high school students)

You cannot pay by card when purchasing tickets using a discount such as an organizational discount.

How to Accrue Miles

Mileage Accrual When Paying with Apple Pay/iD/QUICPay™

iD payments with ANA VISA Cards or ANA MasterCards are not eligible for ANA Card Miles Plus.
Furthermore, Apple Pay payments with ANA VISA Cards or ANA MasterCards are made using iD and are therefore not eligible for ANA Card Miles Plus.
QUICPay™ payments with ANA JCB Cards are not eligible for ANA Card Miles Plus.
Apple Pay payments with ANA JCB Cards are made using QUICPay™ and are therefore not eligible for ANA Card Miles Plus.
