Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe

Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe is a theme park that boasts the romantic vibes of Scandinavia and brings the magical world of the ocean to the land. At the heart of the theme park lies the Nixe Castle, which was modeled on an actual castle in Denmark called Egeskov. On the inside, the Nixe Castle transforms into a four-story aquarium where you can use your sight and touch to experience the world under the sea up close. Marvel at the eight-meter-high crystal tower, handle coastal wildlife at the touch pool, and take a moment to relax in the area where jellyfish glide gracefully against a backdrop of lighting and sound effects. The theme park also has an excellent range of attractions, including shows featuring dolphins and sea lions in an all-weather pool, a penguin parade that is held all year round in the square, and a seasonal show presenting 10,000 sardines.  Visitors can also come face to face with reptiles, amphibians, and other creatures at the Reptile/Amphibian House, have a bite to eat prepared by a chef at one of the relaxed restaurants, and take their pick from exclusive aquarium merchandise and recommended Noboribetsu-branded products at one of the gift shops.
