Using Miles

With this service, you can redeem 10,000 miles for JPY 10,000 cashback for your credit card spending. If you do not have any spending in that month, the cashback will be carried over to the following month and will be valid for a period of 3 months.

Information

After February 16, 2021, Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd.'s ID Value service changed to a cashback service which can be used for card payments.The scope of the service has expand as ID usage has also been included in the amount eligible for payment.

Notes

The payment allocation will be displayed under usage details once the payment amount from the registered credit card is confirmed. Please log in to Vpass, the Mitsui Sumitomo card online service, and check My Page.
After 3 redemptions (i.e., 30,000 miles) for Cashback service service have been completed in a single year (from April 1 until the following March 31), a redemption rate of 10,000 miles=JPY 5,000 will apply to all subsequent Cashback service redemptions during that year. For more information, please refer to [Partner Points] Redemption rate from 30,000 miles onward.

This benefit is available for ANA Mileage Club members who apply using their own ANA VISA card or ANA MasterCard.
Cashback-eligible usage periods will vary according to the redemption application period. Please confirm the relevant application period and use the service within the corresponding usage period.
There are expiration dates for cashback. If there is a delay in the partner merchant sending the relevant sales receipt to Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd., the transaction may not be eligible for cashback. Please use the redeemed cashback as soon as possible.
Your application may be declined if you have canceled your ANA VISA Card/ANA MasterCard or your membership is suspended at the time the cashback is credited, or at the discretion of Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (upon screening) or depending on the customer's payment situation. The deducted miles will then be returned after approximately 1-2 months. (Customers will not be individually contacted.) Please note that miles which have expired at the time of refund processing cannot be refunded.
After an application is submitted, the redemption cannot be canceled and the cashback cannot be refunded back into your mileage account as miles. Please redeem partner company points or benefits after confirming the relevant terms and conditions.
